Jorge Roman earned his degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and has been in practice over 3 years. His experiences in therapy involve helping children, adolescents, & adults with depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, marriage & family issues, & self-worth/esteem issues, among others. To help clients, Mr. Roman uses a variety of approaches that include, but not limited to, CBT, Trauma-Focused CBT, Solution-Focused, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, & Creative Arts Therapy.
Dr. Shannon Wilson earned her Ph.D. from The University of Tennessee in 2001. She conducts therapy with adults, children, adolescents and couples to address a wide range of issues. Dr. Wilson also performs evaluations for diagnostic, educational and legal purposes. She is a Tennessee Supreme Court Listed Rule 31 Mediator and a Collaborative Divorce Coach, and does a great deal of work with children and families in divorce. Dr. Wilson utilizes a balance of compassion and practical problem-solving in her therapeutic approach, which combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Solution Focused and Client-Centered Therapies. She has received additional specialized training in the use of hypnosis in therapy, as well as in the treatment of children, law enforcement and emergency responders.
